- Click the + New button under your Goals section to add a new goal you want to achieve. Select a category and give it a timeframe. Note: If you don’t have overall goals you want to track at this time you can ignore this step and move on.
- Click the + New button under the To-Do List to create a new task. Select the priority, Due date, and Goal it is associated with.
- Tasks will appear in the list below based on when they are due. Check the box to mark them as complete.
Using the Pomodoro Timer
Pomodoro is a technique used to timebox your work so you can be more effective. Using this timer can help you stay focused and get more things done.
- Pick one of your tasks you want to work on and start the timer. For the next 25 minutes forget about any distractions and focus on completing the task.
- When the timer is done you can take a short break (5 mins) or long break (10 mins) by selecting either option.
- When the break time is done, return to your workspace and start the 25 minute timer again. Repeat this cycle until your tasks for the day are complete.
